Christopher Massey is a Nashville-based legal videographer, producer, & editor. Chris began his journey in legal video by overseeing the legal video department of the Nashville based Court Reporting firm, Vowell & Jennings. During his time with the company, Chris oversaw the recording of thousands of depositions for some of the largest firms in the country. In addition, Chris was also responsible for the recruitment and training of all new legal videographers that were added to the staff.

Chris has since taken his extensive knowledge regarding legal video production and founded Christopher Massey Legal Video providing quality video deposition services in the Nashville area. One of the first major projects for his new company was creating and producing the “Guide to Legal Video,” an online training series designed to teach the next generation of legal videographers the art of accurately recording witness testimony. Most recently, Chris was honored by the Nashville Bar Association for his video contributions to their Historical Committee’s Oral History Project.

In addition to his legal video work, Chris has been actively involved in providing video production services to Nashville’s Country Music industry. His work has been featured on multiple networks including NBC, Fox, Hub, E!, CMT and GAC.  Previous project collaborations have included the NBC primetime special “Taylor Swift: Speak Now”, as well as filming and editing numerous shows for Taylor Swift’s Xfinity on Demand Channel. Other completed work includes projects for The 2010 Teen Choice Awards, The 2011 & 2012 CMA Awards, George Strait, Lionel Richie, Scotty McCreery, The Judds, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Seether, Evanescence, Duck Dynasty, David Nail, Thompson Square, Lauren Alaina, Jennette McCurdy, Eric Church, and Rodney Atkins.
